"There is No New Thing Under the Sun"

In 33 AD the Savior of ALL who believe in Him, the man Jesus Christ was killed and crucified for envy, greed, and power. Those that ran the affairs of the Temple, the religious Pharisee and others were losing their grasp on the masses. Years after the death of Jesus Christ, Peter and the disciples are preaching in Acts...they are endued with power to manifest the Spirit to Israel through physical signs and wonders...they begin preaching solely to reconcile Israel back to God, (Acts 2-11) and through Paul and his revelations (Acts 9), they end Acts preaching of the gospel of the grace of God for all who will believe.

A False Balance and a Wrong Focus

Do we even consider our actions? Do we examine our zeal for God? Do we have a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. We know that a false balance is an abomination. Preachers hit sodomy and the homosexual movement with both barrels, but we never consider other abominable sins.

We know we were sinners. Do we now hide the fact that we are still men of flesh. There is none righteous. It’s only his righteousness. All of it. You don’t get credit for any of it. It’s Christ in you the hope of Glory. We pick on one or two sins that God calls abominable, and ignore the rest?

Paul the Apostle

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: ~ 1 Timothy 1:5

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:9

"For the edifying of the body of Christ..."

For His Body, who are IN Him, through the Spirit; to all those who profess belief in the gospel of the grace of God, his death, and resurrection, according to the scriptures. Our eternal redemption comes through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ as the final and permanent sacrifice for his or her own personal sins against a Holy God, who is our Father and Creator, who is in heaven. Through Him, the creator of all life, his Son, the Savior of the world, and his Spirit, the sealer of our souls, do all things consist, and by him were all things made for his pleasure.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth,

the gospel of your salvation:

in whom also after that ye believed,

ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 1:13

In the fifteenth century, came the Reformation out of which have come Protestant movements of various kinds. The Bible was put into the hands of the people, and has been translated into many tongues. With an open Bible came light and liberty again, but never union again. On the contrary, division followed division; sect followed sect. It is true that the great body of the churches believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, but they have turned aside the greater part of their resources, to the attempt to reform the world, to educate the world, and, in short, to anticipate the next dispensation in which those things belong, and to do the work that is distinctly set apart for restored and converted Israel in her Kingdom Age. - C.I. "And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth..."

1 John 4:1 ~ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Peter 2:1 ~ But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Corinthians 11:12-14 ~ But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

"Some to Honour, and Some to Dishonour..."

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

1 Thessalonians 4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

2 Timothy 2:20-21 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

"But Beware of Men..."

Isaiah 56:11 ~ Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

Phillipians 3:1-3 ~ Finally my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Psalms 22:16 ~ For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

2 Peter 3:18 ~ Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
